All Island School Photography Competition - 2014 - Award Winners

Doing extra curricular activities parallel with the subject curriculum, students can gain the enough strength for their future workplace. It will create a student who can survive with the future work needs with 21st century skills. This competition was organized by the Ministry of Education for the school children in Sri Lanka. Individual students could submit any 4 photographs with colour and monochrome giving any topic for their photographs. Students in my photography club submitted 48 photographs in Colour and Monochrome. They used their digital cameras, DSLR cameras, tablet PCs and iPad to capture photographs and edited the photos using Adobe Photoshop. 

Three photographs ( 1 Color & 2 Monochrom) of my two students won "Merit Awards" in this competition. They were awarded by the State Minister of Education Hon. V. S. Radhakrishna at the Auditorium at the Ministry of Education on 6th of Oct. I'm happy that this is their first step.
