A tip to add Official Signature Block Image as Gmail signature

Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators (MIEEs) are very innovative and they are passionate about their own teaching styles with the use of technology and ICT. As MIEEs they contribute to the education with the inspirational teaching methods using various Microsoft tools. This year every educator asked to create and maintain their own blogs, writing articles on “What Fresh” educator blog, join with the social media, creating email signature block etc.

It very important having official signature block for the MIEEs as it shows their identity as MIEE and it is very proud to have such dignity as teachers in the world. You already know we all have received customized email signature block by the Microsoft and everybody have customized it well. Some of you may use Gmail or Outlook as your email id. Now some of you may have faced a problem like this. I also faced a problem like this.

Yes. This tip is for you. This is the answer for those who used Gmail id. Follow these steps and then your official signature block will be online.

1.   Login to your Gmail account

2.   Compose an email for you by attaching your official signature block image.

·       Create a new mail

·       Drag and drop the image file in the message body field.

·       In CC enter your email address and click on Send.

                                   

3.   Go to your inbox and open the email.

4.   Then your image will be appear and Right Click on it and select “Copy image URL”

5.   Now go to email settings

6.   Scroll down to the signature section

7.   Click on "Insert Image".

8.    Paste the URL of your image in appropriate field.

9.   You can preview your picture, can edit it (crop, resize..etc)

10.   You can add your blog URLs and other descriptions before saving it.
